FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
15 May 2006
Well, the Red Mist Gang travelled all the way to Midleton to assist the Munster Car Club in running the Moonraker Forest Rally. A mixed day was had by all, with the Red Mist Member competing failing to finish. The rest of the gang got soaked while marshalling on the first & last stage. The grub in the middle of the day made up for the soaking, however.
Steak was out competing on the rally, but failed to finish as they bent a steering rack (some oily bit, I think) during the event and failed to finish.
The rally was won by John McCarthy in a Corolla WRC and Norrie Rallying's Liam Brennan was fifth overall while being the ballast for Frank Kelly.
Due to some technical failures with the placement of electrons in the lithium matrix within the power pack, there were no photographs available what we can call our own. Basically, I forgot to charge the camera!
