30 October, 2006.
Well, we're back from the annual sojourn to Skibbereen. The socks are still drying out, and the boots will never dry out I fear. Camper, Steak, Ice-Cream plus half of the Cork Motor Club turned out to marshal. Big T, the jammy bastard, got a driving job and stayed dry for the day.
Unfortunately, it was a poor day for the usual Red Mist Hero's. Keith Cronin & Anthony O Conaill had a poor day, with a puncture on the opening stage ruining their day. Tadhg & Mossie O Conaill had electrical trouble (but not of the Red Mist style, of a con-rod through the alternator!) The bad news of the day is that Dennis Cronin got a puncture early on the day, and then broke a wheel and retired.
Camper & the brother were doing flying finish, while Steak & Ice-Cream were on location 4 on stage 5 & 7. We all had a grand day, considering, and as we were all busy marshalling, we don't have any photos from the rally
