Translation - Rally Finland!

Well, were back after our trip to Finland, and what a laugh. Camper, Steak, Ice-Cream, Sparkie and Fergus all went for their annual trip (I know, we didn't go last year!) to the home of rallying.

The main points are

• Hearing what the rev limiter sounds like on the hire car
• Stretching the handbrake cable in the hire car
• Getting lost, and blaming it on Lucy (the sat nav)
• Being treated like royalty in Subaru
• Shouting for Brian O'Mahony and Shaun Gallagher
• Sampling the local beer, and suffering after poor choices
• Getting up at 6 in the morning
• Mol's & Dell's good luck wishes, which are here.
• Having to listen to those Bloody Welsh on Sunday (Who needs a BDH anyway?)
• Going to bed at 2 in the morning
• Burning the frankfurters on the BBQ (ya, we had a BBQ in the woods on Saturday!)
• Being amazed at the driving skills,
• Poking fun at Campers huge mosquito bites
• Watching cars jump 40 metres
• And generally having a laugh.

I'll be drip feeding the stories over the next few weeks, but here's the story of the trip to Subaru.

Steak had arranged passes for Subaru for the Friday service, and it was a secret from Ice-Cream. Naturally, Ice-Cream insisted on wearing a Ford Shirt to service that night, and we managed to cover him with a Rally Finland jacket. It was well worth it, as we saw exactly what was happening, everything was explained, and there was all the drink that you wanted as well....

See, we were in Subaru!

So, all in all, we had a laugh, got our faces on Eurosport, and were already planning our trip for next time.......
