FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Well, we're back from the annual trip to Donegal. Camper, Macca, Ice-Cream, Steak, Big T, The Casey Rallysport Gang and "Dan the Shark" went to the Donegal International Rally. We all had a great time, and Dan Shea was christened "Dan the Shark" after cleaning up in pool every night!
Casey Rallysport, as well as Marshalling on Knockalla & Atlantic Drive with the Red Mist Gang, got stuck into some repair work Friday Night, as you can see below. The question is, is Johnny under the Company Car, or the Escort?

Where's Johnny? Or, which car is he working on? Answers on the back of a forty euro note to the usual address.

Big T, posing as usual.......
So, the Rally News. Loeb, as the world knows, won the event. There was a rumour that gravel dampers were flown in for Loeb on Friday night as Citroen's tarmac dampers were too low. There may be some truth in the rumour as the C4 was scraping the road a lot more than the other front runners on Friday. Saturday morning, the C4 was visibly higher, as the photos show.
Friday, Stage 2
Saturday, Stage 16
Look at the ground clearance at the front spoiler for the Friday and Saturday photos.
Loeb was a different class compared to the rest. The main difference was the amount of time spent on the throttle. This was clearly seen on Atlantic Drive. We were marshalling at the junction just up from Downings. We had a view of about two miles on the stage from the junction, and Loeb spent more time on the power, and less time on the brakes compared to the rest.
I'm sworn to secrecy on the rest of the (alcohol fuelled) news, but I'll tell you this juicy bit, as long as you don't tell anybody else. Big T giggles like a school girl when drunk!
Some photos are here. We have more photos, and if anybody wants any, drop us a line to Photos@RedMistMotorsport.com.
