FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Well, as you know, most of the gang were out on Cork Motor Club's Night Nav, ran by Nigel Coulter & Johnny from CaseyRallySport, and a great night was by all.
The important bits. Big T & Steak (Ice-Cream was dying with the flu, so Steak filled in) won their class, with Suggs coming home fourth Expert, just ahead of The Councillor. "Cousin Brian" came home third in class as well, and only encountered his nemesis (Camper) only twice on the night, even though Camper was seeded just ahead of him!
Camper, M.M. and The Hoff all had a great time, and finished the event, despite Camper pressing the AX into service, and M.M. driving one of The Hoff's beloved Carina II's. Most of Camper's night was spent wondering if the AX would drink all it's engine oil, admiring the new rattles and trying to match them to songs, and wondering if the exhaust would hold up (it did). M.M. was complaining about brakes afterwards (who needs them, they only slow you down!), and The Councillor was wafting around in the air conditioned comfort of an Alfa 156! Yes, Big T used the Mondeo and is muttering something about some Munster Championship!
Special thanks to Tadhg O Conaill & Mol (aka Pippi) who held us up just before a time point, with talk of cups of coffee and sweet cakes, but it was all a laugh!
