FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
We're still thawing out after the day! It was thankfully dry, but was bloody cold.... Paul Casey, of Casey Rallysport was in charge (Oh God...) but a great day was had by all. The only representatives we had were Jason Frahill, David Beamish, Robert Beamish, Bradfield (in the ex Big T Corolla) and Johnny Casey. Frahill had plenty of offers of ballast for the day and missed out on best CMC award by 1.2 seconds!. Also, Johnny Casey managed NOT to crash the COC's car, which was a relief for all.
Also down there, we had Camper & Dell in the results "room", along with Rally.ie. Suggs was out braving the cold marshalling, and Noel Ferriter was at the gate in the gorgeous Mk1 RS2000.
And now, as I couldn't be bothered writing any more, I'm going to "borrow" Rally.ie's press blurb.

_ Billy Coogan from Castlecomer Co Kilkenny won today's Cork Motor Club
Rallysprint held at Waterford Raceway in the Pike, Dungarvan.
- Coogan in a BMW M3 took the lead on the last Run after a day long battle
with Nicholas Cahill, in the ex-John Somers Opel Corsa.
- Third was John Hackett, who completed another giant killing performance in
his historic Mini.
- Jason Ryan was fastest on the first Run in his VTEC engined Starlet.
- Jason took a maximum on his 2nd run after breaking a driveshaft, but
returned for the remaining runs, taking Fastest Run of the Day
- One of the surprises of the day was the performance of William Fogarty in
his Immaculate 1974 Autobianchi Abarth A-112, taking a fastest time and
finishing 4th overall.
- The Entertainer of the day was Owen Murphy, who shared an Ex-Kieran
O'Callaghan Toyota Corolla SR with his Father.
