We came back with a bang to reality in a big way. After Skibb's Economy Run, we were on a high, and thought that we were invincible. That went out the window in a big way with the Sprint. Big T decided to fix the clutch in the Civic on the Saturday before the event, and didn't start, naturally. In case you're wondering, yes it's the clutch that went on the Mini Stage back in the start of June. The rest of us then took bets as to when the car would be sorted. As a result, Annmarie wins the bet as she was closest to Saturday, with Annmarie picking Thursday.
So, the only hope that Red Mist had was Steak & Ice-cream, in the little Nova. Most of the rest of the gang were either on catering duties in service, marshalling or in Mogeely......... As for the results, who cares! Steak & Ice-cream both finished, they both enjoyed the day (and the tea, thanks to Sheena) and everybody had a ball.
As you can guess, I've got no idea of what happened at the event, I've got no pictures, but I'll change that soon enough.......
