We had a flippin' brilliant night. Macca & Topaz came second in class, Cousin Brian & Old Stock were third Expert home (and just behind Macca & Topaz overall). The Councillor was second in class as well. Other notable results were Anthony & Fergus Harrington first Expert, while Johnny & Vinnie of CaseyRallySport finished.
The worst was reserved for Suggs, who had a driveshaft let go at the first time point! He managed to struggle around and finished, even though at times, it was so bad that Suggs and Tadhg had to push the car at times!
Big T, Steak & Camper didn't start the event, due to "technical issues". Big T & Steak had both car issues and a dose of the flu, while Camper had clutch issues in both the AX GT & Vectra GT! (What is it with Camper with white GT's with clutch issues!?). As a result, Big T and Camper went marshalling, along with Goffy, BunBun & Mol (aka Pippi)
So, a big well done to Alan Clarke & Ger Hayes for a cracking night, and I'm not saying that because we did absolutely fabulous!
Oh, just a correction. The trophies were actually not crystal, but stylised steering wheels......
